S M Toufiq Abir is a leading Senior Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist in Bangladesh, dedicated to improving Hearing, Speech, and Communication Health. He serves as a Clinician and Assistant Professor of Audiology, contributing to teaching, clinical training, and research. He is also the Director (Academic) of the Advanced Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (AIRS), supporting professional education in rehabilitation fields. Alongside his academic role, he actively participates in media and awareness programs to promote hearing health and early intervention. As General Secretary of the Bangladesh Association of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists (BAA-SLP), he works to advance the profession and improve access to care.
